Canada - mountains, lakes, bears, skiing, adventure sports…. From rugged Nova Scotia to the wilds of British Columbia, you can get to the heart of the Big Country. An absolute haven for activity based holidays.
When to visit?
Like the UK, Canada has four seasons. Temperatures can vary sharply throughout the year; take cheap flights to Canada between December and March, yet be prepared for lots of snow, but if winter sports are what you want, that’s no bad thing.
What are the must-see attractions?
Take a day trip to Niagara Falls, maybe visit the liberal city of Montreal, the Gallic charm of Quebec City and the wilds of Nova Scotia. In the centre is cosmopolitan Toronto and fabulous skiing in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, or you could camp out around the vast forests and lakes of Manitoba. The west coast boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. British Colombia has mountains, lakes, forests and miles and miles of deserted beaches as well as the charms of sophisticated Vancouver (very good for shopping). You can explore it all with our range of cheap flights for students to Canada.
What else is there to do?
Go wild and a take Canadian safari to see two of the world’s most awesome predators, Bears and Killer Whales. How about the Mouse Bus, a ‘hop on’ ‘hop off’ bus which covers the east and west coasts.
