Cruising with Island Cruises means you’ll be able to choose how you want to enjoy yourself and relax, not having to fit into someone else’s idea of a good time. Island Cruises have two ships – The Island Star and The Island Escape and sail the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Transatlantic.
There are no set timings for dinner, there’s no standing on ceremony and no dress code. From the British captains down, all of the friendly crew are on hand making sure you feel at home the instant you step aboard.
Whether you’re dining on the Island Star or the Island Escape you’ll find plenty of choice to suit all appetites and occasions. The Island Restaurant is buffet style with a wide range of traditional favourites to make you feel at home. In the Oasis Restaurant you will find the a la carte restaurant, here you will spoilt for choice with the chef’s delicious dishes and extensive wine list. Other popular choices are the Beachcomber, a 24 hour restaurant offering inside and outside dining along with various themed evenings and The Grill, offering you the opportunity to grab a burger, hotdog or chips as you sit in the sunshine! Kids are also well catered for with a delicious kid’s menu full of favourite dishes and kid’s cocktails with a difference!
Throughout the day you are invited to join the specially arranged programme of events from games and lifestyle activities to demonstrations from the crew. Also new for summer 2008 onboard Island Star is the UK’s number one comedy, Jongleurs. You can also enjoy fabulous West End style shows in the theatre and live music onboard. Island Cruises are also family friendly, there is an experienced children’s host who will organise activities such as face painting, scavenger hunts and discos. There is also the Action Zone – Arcade for those cool teenagers to hang out in.
Also not forgetting about your well being, there is a salon & spa onboard, pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.
With the choice of many outside cabins and a selection of Suites and Balcony cabins, you’ll be spoilt for choice. All cabins are equipped the latest fixtures and fittings.
